For my first piece of art today, I made this pen drawing of a lion and lioness fondling. The drawing depicts love and affection between the lion and the lioness and shows us that even animals do have positive feelings for one another.
I made this drawing using a black ball point pen and pelican paper.
Here are my steps in the drawing;
First, I drew the outline of both the lion and the lioness in a fondling position. I also added their facial features in this stage.
Next, I began to shade and add fur details to the skin of the lion first to make the drawing look realistic.
Finally, I shaded and added fur details to the lioness until I got a satisfactory result.
