Earlier today, I made this wildlife drawing depicting a Bushtit standing on the stem of a plant. The bushtit is gray-brown bird with a large head, a short neck, a long tail, and a short stubby bill. They are very active and feed mostly on small insects and spiders.
I used a black ball point pen on pelican paper for this drawing.
Here are my steps;
I began by drawing the outline of the bird standing on the plant
Next, I shaded and added details of feathers to the bird's body.
Finally, I shaded the plant on which it was standing until I got a satisfactory result.
