I would like to share my first sketch today with you. This sketch depicts a deer with it's beautiful anthers and a body showing trees reflecting it's habitat. One beautiful thing I love about deers are their beautiful horns (anthers) which I sometimes refer to as a piece of art. Deers besides being hunted for their meat, they're mostly hunted for their anthers and this is really sad. Hopefully these beautiful creatures get better treatments and are well conserved.
For this drawing I used a black pen on pelican paper.
Here are the steps in the sketch;
I drew an outline of the deer's face
I completed the outline of it's body
I drew the trees on it's body reflecting it's habitat
Finally, I shaded and added details to the face, anthers and the body.
