Hello steemers, Today i want to share with you some nice pictures i took. I captured these pictures of our river landing and the Mississippi river🌊 while i was out doing fire🔥 inspections.
The Westwego landing was built in hope for a future river ferry. This is also the spot that our city's water intake draws water from the river🌊 and need to be checked periodically. Look in the far background you can see the cityscape🏙️ of New Orleans.
The river🌊 is busy this time of the year due to the snow melting up north. You can see ships🚢, tugboats, and barges hauling products up and down the river all hour of the day☀️or night🌒.
Let's get a closer look👀 at the mighty Mississippi river🌊.
