Hello steemers, Today i have a silver order to show you. Guess what came in today? Silver! I ordered these fractional rounds mainly because i enjoy the design. The price point wasn't to bad for designer fractional silver either. At around .69 cent over melt, i knew i was picking up a few for my stack.
Here's what I had to have.
This silver round mimics the Mercury dime, one of the most recognized coins in American history. These rounds are produced by America Precious Metals Exchange. Also known as Apmex. The front displays an interpretation of Lady Liberty dawning a Phrygian cap. This a classic symbol of liberty and freedom, with its wings symbolizing freedom of thought.
The reverse of the rounds shows a Fasces juxtaposed with an olive branch, meaning to symbolize America's readiness for war with its desire for peace. The round looks almost identical but holds no face value.
Hope you enjoyed the modern classic version of the Mercury dime. Thanks for stopping by and viewing. I am a proud member of the #steemsilvergold and @ssg-community.
