My weekend, no, the last few days, starting on Thursday, have been preoccupied by windows. Windows 10 to be precise. Right now, Bill Gates is not my favourite person. I keep on thinking how, when I was a whippersnapper, computers were not a necessity. On Maslow's hierarchy, they now rank among one's basic needs. Don't they?
Gandalf did his best to make me feel better. Not sure he did, but he tried. Arms round my neck, and a little pink tongue threatening a kiss that (mercifully) didn't happen.
My takings exceeded the Christmas market which had, to that point, been the best ever for a morning market. This is my eighth year of doing the morning market and that folk come looking for my fare is, to say the lest, gratifying.
Koeksister reviews? Let's just say, I lament not having a hidden camera...
Back home, it was back to this...and after getting totally irritated and frustrated, I fled and caught up with my GFs. To come home to the usual braai - which we missed last weekend because we had too many parties - yes, when one is out of practice, there can be too many parties! So, a quiet evening at home was very welcome.
My plans for doing a "proper" haven't happened. And I blame Bill. Nor did my plans for chilli jam materialise. So, tomorrow, which is a public holiday in South Africa will be in the kitchen. Lime marmalade and chilli jam are on the menu. Actually, need to get the lime marmalade going now...
Today's post for #hiveblopomo is a pile of shite. What I've managed to do - returning to Windows - and I'd still like to kill Bill - is get the laptop going. I've got Office 365 working and reinstalled various apps. Like Discord...priorities, you know... I've not been able to get my various million email addresses working in Outlook. I'll deal with that on Tuesday. That I can access them online will suffice. Sorry, Bill, I really do have better things to do with my time than to fight with your legacy.
To quote one of film's most famous femmes fatale, I'll think about it tomorrow on Tuesday.
With that: Happy (if you celebrate) Easter. If you don't, well, happy day, anyway!
Until next time, be well
