I am choosing to begin the week on a positive and hopeful note. A while ago, my hope heart on the outside of the outside shower lost its hope. The Husband rescued it the word's been sitting forlornly waiting to be put back. yesterday was the day.
But first...
Our lemon tree actually has lemons. It's taken years of patience and nurturing through a long drought. And they are not all at the same stage. The tree is behaving like a Eureka should. Not enough to make a batch of marmalade, but enough for other things: the crop is still at countable stage. We have counted eleven. I can't wait to pick and use the first. That may happen this evening and I'll be like a squeeling child or proud mamma. Not sure which. Yet.
Hope and promise
Hope fell off but is back now, where she belongs. A good omen? A good start to the week?
May it be so. For everyone.
Until next time, be well

I am participating in @traciyork's twice-yearly Hive Blog Posting Month. Join us?
If this post might seem familiar, it's because I'm doing two things:
- re-vamping old recipes. As I do this, I am adding them in a file format that you can download and print. If you download recipes, buy me a coffee. Or better yet, a glass of wine....?
- and "re-capturing" nearly two years' worth of posts.
- From Wordpress, I use the Exxp Wordpress plugin. If this rocks your socks, click here or on on the image below to sign up.
- Join Hive using this link and then join us in the Silver Bloggers' community by clicking on the logo.

- lastly, graphics are created using partly my own photographs, images available freely available on
