My brain did it for the first time in a long time: woke me at 3am with busy-ness I've not known for a while. It's not like the waking of a year ago when I was paralysed by the not-knowing associated with the lockdown or Covid and how we would make ends meet. Rather, it was in anticipation of a really busy week.
I did think I might post something from my phone via @dapplr, but my brain was so preoccupied that I locked myself out and had to find, at 4am, after I'd dipped into the book I'm currently reading, the PUK. Needless to say, the word in my head at the time included no "P" and included an "F" and a "K"... Let's just say, eventually, I found the PUK-king number. It took a while because I'm not at my best in the morning. Let alone in the wee hours.
Problem resolved, I returned to bed, and notwithstanding being turned into a cats' mummy (wedged between two felines, unable to move is mummification...) and planned my day. It included the long promised post about mushrooms.
But then I was offered the opportunity of a hairdo. Ahead of a busy week after a bad hair week, that was an opportunity I wasn't going to pass up. She's a delightful young woman and came here, but and I have great hair, but what I thought would be four hours for writing a blog was, well, gone.
The day did begin well, though. With the most beautiful sunrise spied from our first floor bedroom window.
Wishing one and all a happy, productive and rewarding week!
Until next time, be well
