The English Proverb "The pen is mightier than the sword" still holds true as it is practical wisdom expressed in a simple way. A pen's ink will eventually run out, in the meantime why not create something meaningful before it does?
When writing an story of your life, do not be swayed by material gains and let others hold the pen in your hand as that will only deviate your life from the path you initially envisioned when it was in your hand.
The mistakes that you have written down with your pen cannot be erased, but can be cross out or start anew on a new blank piece. Just like when cloth is stained with wine, the scent starts to fade, however the mark will always remain. As time passes by, the cloth would not deny that it was once stained by wine. The mark will only vanish when the cloth does. You are what you write, what you write will become your life.
PS: Wrote and composed this in a letter to my best friend to motivate him, and I hope in this community it would do the same as well.
