My name is Mazi Remy Obidike-Osigwe. I was born and raised in Aba, Abia state by Late Mr Emmnuel Obidike-Osigwe and Mrs Lucy Ogoma Obidike-Osigwe, but originally from Anambra state all in the eastern part of Nigeria. I'm the last born in a family of 4 kids now adults.
Being the last born in the family had it's good side, which was the preferential treatment from my parents (my father in particular ) than my other siblings. Which later turned around when he died when I was 10 years old. Losing my Father early in life was devastating as so much changed in my life.
I remember back then, having to hawk ice water (as it was called then) to pay for my first school leaving certificate and common entrence examinations fees. Today i am thankful for those experiences as they made me to have a better understanding to life.
I am happily married to my lovely wife and we have a son, Chidalu Winner Obidike who i fondly call Akubueze who is 7 years and in primary 3.
Akubueze is a very inteligent and kind boy, Who is always ready to give everything to make people happy. He is known as the jolly good fellow by his class mates in school and in the neighbourhood

I went to Constitution primary school and Ngwa high secondary school for my primary and high school education. After my high school, I went and trained as a computer hardware maintenance engineer and also became a mobile money agency banking certified agent having been trained for two years by mobilemoneyafrica.com.
Immediately after my training as a mobile money agent, I worked with MTN/Diamond bank (Now Access) in Aba, Nigeria as a Diamond Yello Account agent covering 5 cities in Abia state namely, Aba, Osisioma, Umuahia, Uturu and Ugwunabo.
After my contract with MTN/ Diamond Bank expired I went into trading and started my clothing fabric trading company, Fabrihub International Company Nig. Which deals in different types of clothing fabrics. Importing from China.
A few years into my clothing fabric business, my interest in tech inspired me to start an online academy and thus figgyacademy.com was founded in 2023.
SpendHBD on Hive was introduced to me by my friend 
As a shopper on spendHBD, I have been rewarded for using HBD tokens to make payments for products that ordinarily I would not have gotten any discount buying them with fiat.
As a local guide, one of my duties is to onboard businesses and users on Hive and SpendHBD community. We do that by organizing presentations for newbies and educating businesses on the benefits of their business being listed on the platform. So far, I have been able to list two businesses and two newbies on Hive and SpendHBD.

Gaemod wine shop is an all bottle shop, located at 52 Asa road in Aba,Nigeria. They deal on non alcoholic wines, alcoholic wines, Whisky, Etc.
It was a bit hard convincing the owner of the shop to list his business on the spendHBD platform. But finally it worked out and it was listed.
