Regarding this hipotetical burglar:
- The burglar knew the risks of trying to steal someone else's stuff.
- The burglar violated my personal space in a way that makes me feel insecure for a pretty long time.
- If someone does burglary, it is inviting this kind of stuff to happen eventually.
- A burglar's live worth's less than garbage, therefore my stuff is obviously more valuable.
- If caused by famine, there are plenty of charities around and instead of stealing my stuff you try to ask for a meal, I would gladly provide something, like buying a snack in a local market.
