This is called quality assurance. All good employees have jobs. If you don't have a job it's more likely that you are not a good employee as there's always a reason for the other employers having rejected you. Just like the "3 toddlers and 3 equal toys in kindergarten" where the first toddler chooses one of the toys and the other 2 fight the first toddler for that toy although there are other 2 equal toys. It's our instinct to think "There's a reason why the first toddler chose that specific one".
