As if from nowhere, after the first early winter rains, the flowers of the African daisy began to pop up everywhere in my garden. I have seen flowers where I forgot I planted them. I have seen flowers where I have not planted before, meaning that the wind carried the seeds. The flowers have enticed me for many years now. The other half, @urban.scout, calls them "geometric flowers". For me, they look like painted flowers. Each flower petal looks like an artist painted with the utmost care a brush stroke.

In this post, I want to share with you some of the flowers that popped up in the garden. It seemed like they came from nowhere. I wanted to pick them, but I leave them in the garden so that the seeds might spread throughout the garden. Their flowers are really beautiful artworks. I hope you enjoy these photographs! I took them with my Nikon D300 and Nikkor 50mm lens.

I hope you enjoyed the photographs of these flowers in my garden. I cannot share it with anyone as I want to grow them for their seeds. But here, I want to show you them.

These flowers attract so many bees and insects. They grow in the wild and are sometimes called wildflowers here. Many subspecies of these plants exist. I do not even know what variety I am growing.

There are real "wild" ones that regrow every year. The ones in my garden are perennial.

Sometimes the flowers do not survive. The one below is a little shriveled up. They also attract bugs that eat the flower. Various plants in the garden never get to the flowering stage as the insect eat them (or even the squirrels I think?).

In any case, I hope you like these flowers! I know @urban.scout love them.
