With this first image I am going to tell you about a bad experience I had in my workshop with one of those customers who get angry for all those good ones, so here I start with my story.
One day like today a man arrived with a 1999 Chevrolet blazer with a problem in a cylinder that was not working. So I told him that I was going to check it and then he left and I started to check the truck, and after doing a thorough review I came to the conclusion that the problem was an injector that was not working.
To remove that injector you have to disassemble almost half the car because this model of car uses an octopus, as we call it here in Venezuela since all the injectors of this truck are used in that piece that we call octopus and is under the cabin and for that you have to disassemble a lot.
When I am disassembled came the owner of the truck and when he saw all that disassembled he grabbed me by the neck and told me what I was doing to his car that was so disassembled, I was scared half explained and little by little he was releasing me until he calmed down and I was able to explain, The gentleman told me where he was from and that since he had that car he had never had that part removed and after we talked he apologized to me for his reaction, what I did was to laugh while the scare passed; without a doubt it was a bad experience for me.
This gave me a lesson because since then I explained very carefully the details to the customers, for example what to do, how I am going to do it and why I am going to do it so that they are already warned and something unfortunate does not happen because there are many customers like this gentleman and we never know when we are going to get one like this.
Here I am going to tell you a good experience, not long ago an acquaintance came to the workshop to check the front bearings of his car, a Renault 2006.
He had been told in another shop that the bearings had to be changed because they were useless and that possibly the front points were useless too. He looked for another theory and took it to me so I checked it well and if I noticed at first that the bearings were useless, but when I keep checking I realized that the tripoid tips were loose and being loose they do not tighten the bearings and remain loose.
I tightened them and the problem that the car had was removed; then the owner came and asked me how much I was going to charge him, I told him nothing because I had done almost nothing, he was happy and even gave me a hug and said "in that other shop they wanted to rob me" and for me this is very good because our reputation continues to improve and we are being known as honest in my work.
This is my good experience.
