Les cuento que llegó un cliente para que le aguantará el tornillo de agarra la polea del kit de tiempo de un Chevrolet Aveo 1.6. resulta que cuando estoy revisando el tornillo y si efectivamente estaba flojo así que busque la llave para ajustar pero cuando lo estoy ajustando el tornillo nada que ajusta así que decidí sacar el tornillo para ver qué estaba pasando y cuando enfoque con la cámara vi que la parte interna dónde agarra el tornillo no tenía nada de rosca, así que esa es la razón por la cual no ajusta el tornillo.

Para resolver este problema tuve que hacer una rosca nueva y para eso utilice una atarraja tipo macho medida 7/16 pulgadas para hacer la rosca nueva. Cuando estemos haciendo este tipo de trabajo hay que hacerlo con mucho cuidado y fijar muy bien la atarraja para que no quede torcido porque si no es así en ves de solucionar lo que podemos hacer es empeorar lo que estamos haciendo.

To solve this problem I had to make a new thread and for that I used a 7/16 inch male threadlocker to make the new thread. When we are doing this type of work must be done very carefully and fix the screw very well so that it is not twisted because if it is not so instead of solving what we can do is to worsen what we are doing.

También tuve que ampliar el diámetro del eje central de la polea con una mecha medida 7/16, esto lo hice precisamente porque el nuevo tornillo que le estoy metiendo es más grande que el original que trajo la polea, otra cosa es que lo hice justo para que no quede muy flojo.

I also had to enlarge the diameter of the central shaft of the pulley with a 7/16 size bit, I did this precisely because the new screw that I'm putting in is bigger than the original one that came with the pulley, another thing is that I did it just right so that it is not too loose.

Pueden haber muchos factores que pueden ocasionar este problema, pero dos de ellos es que el metal dónde está la rosca es de aluminio y este tipo de material es muy blando, por otro lado es que al tratar de ajustar el tornillo nos pasamos de torque y esto hace que dañemos las roscas de este tipo de piezas; algo curioso es que la mayoría de estos carro siempre de le daña está parte. Hay muchos que solucionan con otros procedimientos que no duran mucho, por ejemplo hay quiénes sustituyen el tornillo por uno un poco más largo y lo que en realidad es que ese tornillo no agarra mucho pues la gran parte de la rosca esta dañada y al sacar varias veces lo volvemos a dañar.

Después de haber echo la rosca nueva localizo un tornillo de la nueva medida, lo coloco y lo ajuste con el torque correcto y pues ajusto muy bien, así que el problema quedó resuelto y el cliente muy contento pues el ya de imaginaba lo peor.
