Now that rain has started. Many activities have been going on the farm. The section i will be taking about is the melon, i planted the melon some days ago afterwards i planted maize utilizing the land to it peak by practicing mixed cropping.
Mixed cropping is a practice whereby you plant more than one crop on a piece of land. The two crop can go together. Melon is a crawling crop which will spread on the ground while the other crop which os a maize will shoot up. So they can be planted together without disturbing each other.
