I have been wondering if we are really practicing democracy in Nigeria with many occurance happening in the country I begin to doubt the fact that we are practicing democracy.
Corruption has eaten us upeven with the first citizen or top government officials. They embezzle the government fund like they we're drinking water. All who have looted money from the government treasury have became god father figure.
The life of the citizen is worthless in their eyes. They trample on the right of the citizen. Imagine the government making a pronoun cement for armed forces to fire any protesters. Are we really practicing democracy?

The mass media have been handcuff like a prisoners. They are not given adequate power to function in their full capacity but what they do is to present to them what they want and air it out. What a country we live in.
I guess we are really faraway from running democracy I will say we are still in running military system of government because we are been force. Freedom of speech is gone and suspended.

The government have neglect its citizen who have elected them into power. They have refuse to attend to the critical problem of killing, kidnapping, massacred of people all over the country and even with the issue of Fulani Hers men. Many lives were lost. Some we're been slaughtered with knives, some with gun and some are being homeless due to the burning of their houses by bokoharam.
Elections were bern rigged and tge government will still recruit the students and people who went for National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) who went to serve their father's land endanger their lives and making them to rigged the election or they will be killed. Their lives are been threatened. Are we really running democracy in Nigeria?
