Kelly sat on the bed. Her head was thumping and her thoughts thick and slow. Whatever they had given her was still in her system.

Yes, there was another one. Alice? Anne? Something like that. The girl from the cafe. The one with the stare that seemed to see right inside your head.
Kelly took another deep breath and tried to remember what had happened. They had taken her phone.
And then they'd given her something to listen to... her eyes widened as she remembered. The music they had played was more than familiar to her. A track by the band called "Metal Butterflies". Her father used to be the guitarist back in the day when you were free to produce music without it first being approved by the Government. They played her favourite track the one with her father's guitar solo that made her want to cry every time she heard it: Dark Feathers was the name of the track. And as she had listened to it she had felt a needle prick her skin.
