The note was stuck to the dashboard of the car with chewing gum. He pulled it off looking around him. The car had been locked and he had the only key. He checked the backseat, suddenly worried that there might be someone waiting to ambush him. The car was empty and apart from his thumping heart, the car park was quiet, deserted. He pulled the gum from the back of the note and flicked it out of the window. The paper, folded and ripped from what looked like a lined A4 journal, had four words printed on it. The writing was neat, hand written, but impossible for him to tell if it was written by a man or a woman. "Find Your Own Way" it read. He turned the paper over looking for other clues. There was none. He wondered about the chewing gum. Should he have saved it? Would there be DNA on it? But what good would that do? He didn't know how to get it tested.
