I'm holding. Everything I've got? For sale on the market. Why? Because Chaos Legion is coming, and I want to be prepared for it. Boosters are always sold for $2 each, and that's going to bring DEC prices closer to the soft peg. After all, many mechanisms in the Splinterlands crypto game are designed to bring up the value when 1000 DEC is below $1 and bring down the value when it's above $1, such as daily quest potions, much higher DEC distribution when its price is much higher than the peg, and of course, regular booster prices.
Like ORBS, DICE packs can't be purchased using credits. And just like Untamed, Beta and maybe Alpha (I don't remember), Chaos Legion packs can be purchased using either credits ($2) or DEC. So here I am, scared of holding DEC because it's going to drop like 50% when Chaos Legion releases, just carefully holding HBD in savings until I can get my hands on early access packs. I've got 500 SPS staked - hopefully that'll be enough.
Saving up another 500 or so meanwhile. I don't want it locked, because if I do have enough SPS staked, Chaos Legion releasing means a spike SPS prices as people buy it for staking privileges like early access and discounts, so I'm selling. If I don't have enough, I think my unstaked SPS will make do, so I'll take it then, not earlier than that. 50-50 then. My SPT + my accounts' airdrops sum up to a $30 every day, so hopefully it will be fine.
1,000 USD. That's the value I want to spend on Chaos Legion as soon as it's out. Hey, I think that's going to earn me the maverick role instantly... Sweet. Consider I'll reinvest most of the money during the entire Chaos Legion season, I'm hoping I'll have at least 50,000 USD when its packs finally sell out in a couple of years. That's my plan. What's yours?
