We came to be, first as Embryos, faultless and without worry. We didn't ask to be here, yet we're here
Next we were babies, swaddled in the arms of our mothers, the only only women who could ever truly forever love us
As toddlers innocence masked us, and kept us safe and happy regardless of the world around us
Then we grew a little, and the mask cracked
Now we know what the world is, now we know how this life is, now we know what love is
Roses are dead, love is fake & weddings are just funerals with cake
Now we yearn for a simpler time. A return to innocence
