Some original news for you to take on today:
Swiss banking cities, which were "snobbed" by certain Hedge Fund firms in the past years for lacking nightlife culture, are climbing rankings, which should probably not make them feel too proud about, that compete with the biggests financial centers, that is Cocaine consumption rankings.
Yes! You read that right.

In a survey done of 60 European cities by the EMCDDA Geneva and Zurich placed themselves in the top 5 in 2017 average Cocaine consumption per inhabitant.
The study has been done by scientists across Europe by examining samples of wastewater provided by treatment plants.

As you can imagine, during weekends, the consumption statistics spike, as you can see from the chart below, I have selected some cities and there you can notice that Zurich, on Saturday night has the highest consumption rates in Europe!!! Not that much of a "boring" city is it?

Additionally it is interesting to note that since a couple of years, Swiss cities have seen the biggest increase in consumption rates of Cocaine (see chart below)

We can deduct that the higher per capita income plays a part of this increase in consumption, while at the same time, the findings contradict the reputation that Switzerland has for being a little dull.
