Hallo there! I am Febri, a mother of 3 lovely children. It is such an amazing opportunity to join the new community. I’d like to tell you a bit about my family.
My oldest daughter is Syifa, she’s fourteen. I’m still amazed for thinking that I have a big girl now. Some people say that she’s another version of me. The way she behaves, the way she looks and she’s as tall as me. She is quite close to me, even she drives me to work with our motorcycle sometimes. We sometimes argue each other, maybe it’s because she is as stubborn as me. However we miss each other when we are apart although we often misunderstand each other when we are together. And you know what…..my friends say they think she was me when they see her at a glance ha ha ha….
My second kid is a boy named Satria. Satria means a knight. We gave him that name so that he can be a hero in our family. Our neighbors say that he looks like his dad. He is a gentle boy. He doesn’t like to argue or to fight that some of his friends say that he is like a girl. But I know, that’s because his character is so similar with his father, the peaceful man. Satria is a celebrity among the girls. Some girls confess frankly to his sister Syifa that they adore him. He knows how to treat a girl that she feels important and being respected. He’s one of a kind.
Aha! Meet my youngest son….Gibran. He is the youngest but he doesn’t want to be called younger brother. He never admits that he is the youngest. He is a smart boy. He can read and count only after learning for three months, five hours a week. He is as tall as 11 years old boy in his 8 year old. When he walks with his brother, Satria, people will think that these two are the same age. Gibran and his brother often have a fight for something small like slippers, clothes, food, TV program and sort of. I just let them argue and solve their own problem because they always have their own reason and find their own negotiation. Well, many times they make me angry with their fight. So I prefer to calm my self down and wait them make it up.
Talking about my family, these people make me have many reasons for everything. I have reasons to be happy, to work hard and to do the best I can to make sure they are okay. Oh, last but not least….my husband. The man in blue t shirt. He is really a family man. He doesn’t smoke, he doesn’t leave us gathering with his friends at night. In my place, it it a common a man hangs out with his friends in a warung (a place which sells foods, drinks and snacks) till late at night. It is also a habit of some husbands to fish on the fishpond or a river as a hobby for himself. Thank god, my husband’s hobby is gathering with his family. As you can see he smiles happily when he is with us.
By the way, do you notice the two children with oriental face (white and slant eyed) in the picture? They are my nephews. I will tell you more about them in another post. Ha ha ha….remind me if I forget.
