The Silent Kings of Eid-ul-Adha
Today, while passing through the road, I suddenly noticed a group of tall camels standing calmly for Eid-ul-Adha قربانی. The closer Eid gets, the more the atmosphere of the city changes, but seeing camels always creates a different feeling. Their height, their calm expressions, and the way they walk make them look like the silent kings of the streets.
People were stopping to look at them. Children were excited, some were taking pictures, others were asking about prices, while a few simply stood there quietly observing them. At that moment, I realized that Eid-ul-Adha is not only about sacrifice; it is also about emotions, patience, faith, and understanding the true meaning of giving.
There was something peaceful in the eyes of those camels. Even in the middle of noise and crowds, they stood with complete calmness. Sometimes it feels like animals carry more peace within them than humans do.
The beauty of Eid can already be felt in the markets and roads. The sound of people talking, the lights, the movement of animals, and the happiness on children’s faces together create an atmosphere that comes only once a year. These moments may seem simple, but they become memories that stay with us for a long time.
Watching those camels today reminded me that Eid is not just a festival; it is a feeling that connects hearts through sacrifice, gratitude, and humanity.
