With the open market just around the corner, I thought it would be fun to try to predict the average prices of Genesis cards. These prices that I show here won't be for every individual card, but an average based on what the card's rarity and shine is once the market settles in, which will be at least a week. Of course, these prices are just my predictions. The first few days of open market, we'll see crazy price swings and asking prices. This first post will be for Meteorite price predictions because I feel like they are the easiest to estimate. It will be some time before Genesis fusing will be introduced which will then dwindle the card supply as I wrote about in my first ever article here. With that being said, let's jump into it! :)
Meteorite Card Prices
Common - 0.0015 ETH or around $0.25
Rare - 0.0085 ETH or around $1.50
Epic - 0.06 ETH or around $10.00
Legendary - 0.125 ETH or around $22.00
These prices are based on what it cost to buy the relevant packs (based on rarity) plus a bit more since people will be looking to make at least a little bit of profit from their cards. I'm fairly confident in these prices, but I can't wait to see what actually happens! If you think the prices for these cards are off, I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!
