I really appreciate all the knowledge i gained from this seminar. It inspired me. Well like i said in my introductory post here on steemit....anything i gain from outside this community ill give it to this community and vice versa. I learned alot and ill try as much as possible to say the important points

This speaker was the best for me. I learned so much
The 1st most important is the LINKEDIN. Plz if you are not on this social network grab it now.
Its a platform very useful for finding jobs, not just that even people who work in the company you will like to apply to.
Its a platform were you build your career ,meet great people in your field of study.
The best.... For INTERNS or students looking for industrial training experience thats the best site for that
Am so sad i didnt know this on time. But for 100 level students this information should thrill ypu and move you to action to start building your career from now!!!
OTHER TIPS

1. Plz IT students....choose experience over money very necessary. It builds up your CV for the future
2. COVER LETTER very necessary. Plz if you dont know how to write a cover letter plz learn. Make sure to forward your cover letter together with your resume

• always make sure that you do not use exactly the same cover letter for all companies you apply to. Make it slightly different.
  Always submit your placement form after 2 weeks of resumption at your work place.

1. Sign your logbook at the ITF in the city you did your work.
   Eg if you do in lagos lekki sign in the ITF there.. Dont come to owerri to sign... Infact it wont even be possible.
2. Make sure to know other interns around you for informations...especially when you supervisor is coming
3. Show you are a fast learner and willing to learn more. Dont try to show you know everything.

Trust me. We really learnt alot.
Doh we were not able to win the raffle draw
Yes there was a raffle draw. 15 students were picked by our SIWES cordinator for IT space. Despite that doh it was LIT. Trust me

Winding up the day with a very good meal. I never knew public food could taste so good.
Am a public health student looking for IT space am hopeful that someone here will find me eligible.
