Ever listen to someone nag to such a point that its easier to let them have what they want than to stick to what you believe is best or right?
Sometimes it happens to often that we do not even realize that we just gave in to get out of the situation.
I see it in kids with their parents often, some parents switch off, others give in immediately to avoid a scene.
We all have the one person that we know will ask us for something, and we dread it even before seeing the person.
Even though we may give in to these people, At what cost do we?
What does it say about us who give in?
Is it being lazy? Is it being taken advantage of? Is it because we value our inner peace more?
I think that because of such things, it builds within us, that we reach a point of sometimes not even having the tolerance look at the person coming up to for whatever reason, as we are disturbed in our cores, for not being as true to who we are as we know we ought to be.
Feeling a weird guilt, even though we have done nothing wrong.
We are somehow frustrated by the fact that it has come to this.
I believe its our spirit that as not broken, and reminding us of making better choices and learning from this mistakes in order to remove or deal with such toxic people around us.
Know of such people in your life?
Until next time...
