So often in order to excel or grow in any field or aspect of life, We are to accept the things we cannot change and try make it work with the things that we can - like in the serenity prayer.
So in the game of life, we find the rules and work within those guidelines (or not).
But we accept things to be a certain way.
The easiest way to explain this is like playing a game, and in the game your character has to abide by a certain set of laws, in the Pokemon you could leave home as a kid, but the moment all your Pokemon fainted, so did you.
Mario could stomp on anything but, if anything touched him, he would lose a life as if he were that weak.
So back to the point. There is an established schooling system.
We are taught to work under pressure and be good test takers- we accept what we are told to think and not so much how to think.
There is religon - Very touchy topic, but in essence all I wish to say is that, We have a God that love us, because we believe God loves us so much, at the same time if we sin, we will be punished and go to hell?
We are all governed my some system, one way or another , and even though that might not be a bad thing. It does not mean that it should not be questioned.
Schooling does teach us more than what to think if we took the intiative to look into it more.
Maybe curiosity should be cultivated? I couldnt really say.
With religion, we should dive deeper into theology and to understand this love and toughlove punishment, or reject the idea ...
In the end, it is a choice, but so often we accept the reality we are give rather than question the world around us, in order to realise that we have a choice.
Our stances only seem to change when we are directly affected by things which is fair, but I would not want you to deny yourself of your freedom of choice.
Lets question the reality we are given.
