Another post where I realised I still gravitate back to the Peak District in Derbyshire when I go shooting in the dark!

This was from a memorable 3 hour lightpainting session in absolutely freezing conditions with fadetoblack@fadetoblack just off the Monsal Trail. I couldn't believe my knees took so long to warm back up after this session!

This was more of a 'behind the scenes' shot in Chee Tor Tunnel No.1 but I liked the side on view of the fireworks and laser beams:

Cool blue tones in Padley Gorge, a favourite place to shoot with it's gnarly ancient sesille oak trees. This place always looks good in the mist:

All of the above images were shot in one photographic exposure and are not Photoshop creations.
