@dannewton just finished a 14.73km walk, that lasted for 214 minutes.
This walk helped dannewton burn 1206.0 calories.
Description from Strava: Last year a group of people from the finance dept arranged a social outing, a walk around Castleton/Mam Tor. I didn't go, but one of the women I work with did, and thoroughly enjoyed it.
It came round again this year, and this time she invited me along too.
This years walk was supposed to be starting at Castleton, and then a long walk up to Win Hill, and Lose Hill, before looping back round to Castleton for lunch at one of the many pubs
Although we set of at 9am sharp, we were walking quite slowly (mostly due to dawdling and talking). We ended up completing Win Hill, but ended up cutting out the extra distance to Lose Hill, as we had previously booked the table in the pub for 1:30pm, and were starting to run out of time.
Considering the heatwave conditions we have suffered with recently, we were very lucky with the weather today. Highs of 22C, but plenty of cloud to shield against direct sunlight, and even some welcome drizzle, it was perfect weather for traipsing up and down hills
Back at the pub, everyone else went for the sunday roast option, and I was the only person who chose burger and chips
I didn't care, the burger was super tasty anyway!
The walk made a nice change to my usual Sunday, although sadly I now need to catch-up on all my Sunday jobs that need doing before heading back to work on Monday morning!

About the Athlete: Living in the UK, I am an intermittent Runner, but always striving for more consistency. When I'm not training I can be found photographing insects or listening to really loud angry music (which is the best type of music obviously!)
