One concept about weddings in my country is that when the lady is married to the man, she begins to bear the man's name and that's where the change of name begins. She will have to change her name in court and on other social media accounts.
Today, Saturday 12th of November, 2022 marks the day we celebrate the wedding of my cousin and the celebration has taken all my Saturday. We started and head out from our home. We had a lot of family from different parts of the country visiting for the wedding.
We went to the couple's engagement party, it was done at an event center the place was very big.
After the engagement which is also known as the traditional wedding, we went to the church for the Christianity wedding since they are both Christian. When we got to the church, it was a bit empty but in a few minutes, it was filled up with people.
After joining the couples in the church and doing the necessary things, we headed out again and went to the place the reception will hold. We got to the reception and everywhere was so lively.
Shortly after, the newly wedded couple danced into the hall, and food was served. A lot of eating was going around I didn't take any more pictures. Here are some pictures of the couples.
