Being a student in a school where the system is built to stress the students can be very annoying. The final student like me will understand better, I will talk about the process of how I finished the project. It wasn't an easy task but I'm here today to say I'm done with my project writing, registration, approval, and defense of my project.
Recently, I wrote an article on Read.cash about the project but I will give more details about it here. I started preparing to start writing my final year project last year December. Due to the position I hold in my institution, it made things a bit hard for me and I couldn't focus more on my project. And this was because of one activity or the other. Oh, the positions I held were The Quarter Master of the Nigeria Red Cross society, Kwara state polytechnic detachment, I was also the class representative of my department, and I had to attend to more than 600 students. Now you understand why I didn't finish my project like a normal student.
I planned on starting my project in February of 2022 but again I was occupied with activities. Then in March, the institution implemented a new policy concerning the project writing to make the project work easier for both for students and the project supervisor. This new system was good but was never tested before it was implemented which cause a lot of trouble for students who haven't started the writing of their projects.
Projects were now done online, one will have to upload each chapter of the project in a PDF file on a portal that was created by the school, each student had to register on this platform and pay for registration. Extorting the student after making life hard with the new policy that was made. With this platform, students don't have to come to school to get their project approved or queue a very long line to meet their respective supervisors but the disadvantage to this platform was more than the advantage.
I started my project in March with the topic: Training as instruments for efficiency in public sector organization. I started and it wasn't easy with the position I was occupying, I still had to answer to some higher authority when they call. Students were also there, I had to attend to them which made the completion of my project to be delayed.
But I'm here today, July. I was able to complete my project in July, I went for the approval, it was approved and I went ahead to defend the project in the front of some angry-looking examiner.

I'm just glad I was able to complete it and do the necessary things, very soon I will be a full graduate.
