It's such a lovely time and opportunity again to participate in this contest that focuses on the one virtue. I decided to carve the topic to be patience the one virtue everyone needs.
To every human being on the surface of the earth, there's such a one virtue that one possesses which could make him relevant to his life and generation.
Mine one virtue might be different with other people's own.
Patience to me is everything and everyone needs this rare and important virtue.
Before I proceed, I would like to define few things thus;
There could be many definitions to what patience is however, I would like to define it this way. Patience entails ability or capacity to absorb shock, disappointment, hunger etc. Patience also means the strength to wait and penetrate through a difficult moment.
Patience can be seen as capacity to persevere or endure suffering or difficult situation without doing reacting in a negative way.
One of the most challenging virtue many are finding it not easy to possess is patience because it requires time and sacrifice.
Is not everyone that would like to tolerate any delay or problem.
The indicators of patience are obvious and can't be fake easily which I considered to be;
In response to this question the answer is yes.
I had a very good friend that promised to follow me to where I used to go to help humanity. After long planning and investment of energy, the friend turned down the whole arrangements without my consent. I was disappointed but had to endure it since I had informed so many people about the trip. I never gave up on him till another year unveiled itself I still called him to find out his level interest in following me for rural outreaches. I was sincerely hurt by his first actions of not informing me neither kept me abreast with any development.
Hmmm at the end, he followed me and we were able to execute the plan.
Patience is a great virtue that requires tolerance because it improves one's ability to accept setbacks and make better use of time.
