This shot was taken at Safety Beach on the Mornington Peninsula, not far from where I live. But the area once had a different name.
The original name was Shark Bay, however it was thought that name would not attract tourists to the area and that Safety Beach was a much more inviting name. And it seems to have worked, it is a very popular destination in the warmer months.
