First impressions

Till December last year I've never heard of STEEMIT, DTUBE and STEEMIT DOLLARS. Although I am very interested in cryptocurrencies, the blockchain, digital news and trends; no big German news site wrote about this platform or the idea behind it. It was totally new for me.
Luckily, the German Youtube creator @sempervideo (who is very into cryptocurrencies and software news) made aware that there is a Youtube competitor that rewards their users, creators and the whole community. I was totally flashed and hyped to be honest.

First touchpoint

Sempervideo (you should definitely check them out) made a few introduction videos into the whole matter. He showed how the STEEM POWER and DTUBE system works - also with a few explanations about IPFS and websites that are using the STEEM blockchain (busy.org etc.)
So you can say my first touchpoint with the STEEMIT community where in videos on Youtube. But it was worth it. I wanted to try it by myself.

First real touchpoint ;-)

After the first login (with the extreeeeeem long password ;-)) my thoughts are: Wow. This is how Youtube should be (yes, I started with DTUBE because this is the reason why I got a member of this community). After trying the Instagram competitor and got my first rating - AND my first payment I was totally into the game.

This is day 2 of my STEEMIT experience and I am still fascinated by this site.
