Blogging used to be just a hobby for me, but recently, it has become my full-time job!

There are so many things about this process that have been meaningful and rewarding

for me – both in the beginning when we were still just doing it for fun and now that

we’re doing it “for real.”

At its core, writing is communication. It is about recording thoughts on paper and

compelling others to agree with them. To that end, writing (just like every other form

of communication that has ever existed) improves with practice. Blogging will not

force you to become a better writer, it’ll just happen as you do it. And becoming a

better writer holds important benefits for the rest of your life—whether you are

creating a book, a presentation, a résumé, or an anniversary card for your spouse.

It has been so fun to connect, learn, grow, and share through Pinch of Yum. Like,

unexpectedly fun and wonderful. I mean, seriously – what a crazy ride this has been

from the very start of the little hobby food blog to now the food blog that has become

my real job. Thanks for joining us on this journey, you fantastic food loving friends.
