Both of us husband and wife are engaged in different professions.
My husband mostly stays out of the house due to his work, maybe only 3 or 4 days a month he lives in home.
I work in a factory in which duty has to be done in shifts, sometimes in the day, sometimes in the evening, and sometimes at night.
There is no fixed schedule. We have a 3-year-old child, so we have kept a babysitter to take care of him.
But no woman can overcome the lack of a mother. Our babysitter was also doing her duty just like the rest of the servants.
She did not have any special attachment to our child.
But this was our compulsion, so we had to run this system.
One day, I was on night duty when I got a call from the babysitter, saying, "Mam, your child is very sick. Come home immediately and start the treatment by showing the child to a child specialist.
Hearing this, I got very nervous and immediately reached home after taking leave.
I went home and saw that the child had a very high fever and symptoms of a cold.
I immediately took him and admitted him to a nearby hospital. I was so afraid to see the sick babies admitted to the hospital ward.
The doctor said that there is nothing to fear; it is just a simple viral fever, and it will be cured in 2-3 days.
I took a week off from duty and got my sick child treated.
