An elderly person used to sell ball pens by standing in the market.
He had no other income, so he used to make a living from the sale of this.
I used to sell 40-50 pens daily. He didn't talk much to the customers. He just kept on smiling.
One day, he was leaving the main market selling pens when a big car stopped near him.
The woman in the car asked him how much those pens cost in cents.
The old man told her that he sold pens for 15 cents.
The woman gave him 15 cents out of her purse. The seller started giving her a pen, but she refused him and did not take the pen.
Keep the money by my side. The old man was a little surprised because people often used to show tantrums even when buying pens.
This woman is giving money without taking a pen.
After this, that woman would often meet him in the market and give him 15 cents without taking a pen.
This cycle continued for many months.
One day, when the woman again gave 15 cents to the old man without taking a pen, the elderly salesman told her, "Madam, I have something to say to you."
The woman asked him whether he had something to say or ask.
The elderly said, "Do not ask, do want to say."
The woman was thinking that maybe he would ask why she gave money without taking a pen.
But the matter turned out to be something else. The elderly man said to the woman, "Madam, I want to tell you this:
you are still giving only 15 cents while the cost of the pen has become 20 cents."
The lady smiled, gave him 20 cents, and said in her mind, "Wow, this guy was a very great salesman."
