"Self-transformation begins with a period of self-questioning. Questions lead to more questions, awe leads to new discoveries, and increased personal awareness leads to change in one's life. Purposeful revision of the self only begins by modifying the inner workings of our minds. The modified inner workings ultimately change how we view our external environment."
Kilroy J. Oldster, Author of Dead Toad Scrolls
How do you recognize when a reset is needed, what are some of your favourite places to reset, and what are some of your favourite activities for self-care.
When we see that what we are doing is not being done according to our expectations, we are not meeting our abilities, we are not able to fulfil the goals set by us.
We get a signal to move towards negative perception. We are not getting the full results of our actions. People around us are not satisfied with us or are dissatisfied. There is an adverse effect on all the work, the body and mind start getting distracted. We should understand that we are bored doing the same type of work, our energy has become slack.
This is the time when we need to do our own self-analysis and reset. We need a lot to take care of our bodies and mind.
To reset this, first of all, we need to take time for ourselves by going to some recreational place away from our work or going to a secluded place. We need to give complete rest to our minds.
Away from the crowd, away from work, in a natural place, the sound of birds, the music of the flow of water, the shade of trees, the sound of waterfalls, and the natural scenery will enliven our body and mind. We will be able to reset our hearts and mind. If we think with concentration, we will definitely get a qualitative increase in the fulfilment of our goals.
When we will be happy with our heart and soul, our powers to do our work will also be doubled, manifold. After this holiday and introspection, when we come back, we will see a different personality inside ourselves.
