I have written earlier in my memoirs that I was a very ambitious man. And I was not satisfied with my life's achievements.

Although I was occupying a high position in the government department, but my high ambitions did not let me sit peacefully. Since I was in the medical department and had a thorough knowledge of medicine and the relationship between a doctor and a patient, I thought that perhaps manufacturing and selling medicines would be a very easy way to fulfil my higher ambitions.

In the meantime, my luck gave me an instant opportunity, one of my friends told me that there was a dispute between the directors of a medium-sized pharmaceutical company and they wanted to sell it, I contacted the board of directors of that company. expressed his desire to buy that company. He told me that no cash amount would be required to buy his company, only the responsibility of providing the bank loan and other liabilities due on it could become the owner of this company.

Now because it was not in my capacity to handle so many responsibilities alone, I convinced two of my friends to join the board of directors of this company. After completing all the official proceedings, we took over the company and repaid the bank loan due on it along with interest.

We decided in our first meeting that we will start manufacturing of medicines by applying new packing and labels, for this, by taking the commercial services of a very famous design maker, all the medicine labels, packing, etc. were changed, and our manufacturing work went smoothly. It has started.

But a lot of money was spent on all this, the problem came that how to sell these medicines in the market. For this, we formed a sales team and launched our products for sale in the market. Initially, the sales graph of medicines was very low, but then with our collective efforts, we balanced the expenses and profit. I was still in a government job, but my relations were also good, so I got tenders for the supply of medicines in government hospitals and got them too, after getting this contract we started getting orders for the supply of medicines more than our capacity.

This is where the story of our ruin started, one of my partners did not have much knowledge about the manufacturing of medicines but was looking after the manufacturing management and he was tricked by our manufacturing chemist to persuade him to make substandard medicine in the greed of money.

Unfortunately, random samples were taken by FDA at one place where this medicine was supplied and they were found to be sub standard, immediate action was taken against our company, our goods were confiscated, our payments were stopped, all our orders were cancelled, our security deposit was also forfeited.

Apart from this, we were also prosecuted by suspending the license. Of this single mistake, a mountain of calamities broke down on us, the directors of the company were divided and the company again reached a state of bankruptcy.

We narrowly avoided going to jail, but we had to bear the overhead expenses of the company which was too much until it was sold to someone else and we all came to a pauper's condition.

I will never forget this incident in my life, after this lesson, I vowed never to take any risk again in my life. In the whole incident, a lot of my money, precious time and uncountable efforts were wasted.
