I saw a middle-aged woman in a church dress taking out a sheet from the drain.
I felt that she was immersed in some deep thought while leaving the sheet.
Whenever Mrs Doris remembers her past, pictures of many memories flash before her eyes. Today she is almost 55-56 years old, but all those things seem to her as if it was just yesterday.
She had fallen in love with Mr Mars during his college days, Mars was a very handsome kind-hearted and gentle man. Then the love of both lasted for about 3-4 years and both of them got married. Life was going very well, Mars and she was very happy with their married life.
Mars also devoted his life to fulfilling happiness of Doris. Then a daughter like an angel was born in their house, now their happiness has increased 2 times. Mrs Doris's whole day was spent under the care of her daughter, and now she become 6 years old.
But perhaps God did not approve of all these happiness of his. One day Mars was returning home with his 6-year-old daughter after shopping at the market when a big vehicle hit his car from behind.
In this collision, the innocent daughter died on the spot and Mars was admitted to the hospital in a very bad condition. The car was also badly damaged.
Doris tried to treat Mars by arranging funds from here and there, but even after being admitted to the ICU for a week, there was no improvement in Mars' condition. And on the 9th day, he stopped breathing, when Doris heard the news of Mars' death from the doctors, Doris neither cried nor moaned, just hearing that news she was completely stunned.
Her whole world was in ruins. Now she could not even imagine living life without her husband and daughter. She was very disappointed and desperate. She was not even 40 years old yet. Then one day the father of the church said to her, daughter, spend your life in the service of God, you have lived as much happiness as God had written in your destiny, this is the order of the Supreme Father.
The doors of this God's house will always be open for you whenever you want to come. Doris, full of her sorrows, thought that now she has no one in the world, so why not obey the father and lead a life as a servant in the church?
By taking this decision, she distributed all her belongings to the needy people, leaving her memories the same and coming to church in only her 4 pairs of clothes and now she has been giving her services for almost 15 years.
She is respected a lot in this church today. She never expresses her disagreement with doing any work. This morning also, along with other maids of the same church, the curtains and sheets of the main room were washed and hung on a rope for drying.
The rope on which one of these sheets was hanging broke one end of that rope and the sheet fell into the drainage of the water flowing behind. After leaving it, she was thinking of washing it again. Another servant was collecting the rest of the dry clothes with her.
But today after many years she was again missing her husband and daughter very much.
