Katrina is a beautiful 24 year old girl, went to a drinks dinner party this evening with some young men and women from her building. Her friends had a rehearsal party for a big Christmas party in the building. A plan was made to invite all the people living in their building to this Christmas party.
Only a few youths from the building were included in their rehearsal party, who were entrusted with the responsibility of making arrangements for this Christmas party. Katrina was also entrusted with the responsibility of conducting the stage and doing the stage arrangements for the day.
after the discussion of every point the party went on for a long time and that's why Katrina had a too many drinks. Before going home, she was quite intoxicated . Because the place of the party was very close to her house, she had to walk there, when the party was over, everyone started going to their homes.
When Katrina also started walking towards her house, she felt as if she was not walking but was flying in the air, after coming out of the closed room, as soon as the outside air started touching her body , her intoxication increased even more.
She was enjoying walking a lot, so she thought why not enjoy walking on the road for some more time, so instead of going towards the house, she started walking on the other side of the road and being intoxicated, she walked a long distance from home.
But she reached a long distance while walking, it was already night and she forgot the way, and she had come far away from her home. She had never walked this far before and had no knowledge of the routes around. Tired she sat on a bench at a bus stop, at 1 in the night she was sitting all alone at the bus stop like this and she could not remember the way.
Today she had left her mobile phone at home, so there was no way to tell her position. The intoxication started to wear off and she started feeling scared, and she started crying in despair, no person, no vehicle was visible around so that she could ask for help. Seeing this situation, she started returning in one direction, but again felt that she was going in the wrong direction, due to the month of December, there was fog in the atmosphere, it became more difficult to understand the path.
Right now in a state of confusion and fear, she was standing and thinking that she felt that there is someone around her, she became more scared that there must be some goon, scoundrel or some criminal coming in this dark night.
From the front, a middle-aged man appeared in a black dress, wearing a long coat, wearing a hat on his head, wearing spectacles. Its beard had grown and there was a cut mark on its face which made it look scary.
Katrina thought that if he was a rapist, she would not be well today, her parents had told her many times that goons, miscreants, criminals, rapists, murderers roam the streets in the dark of night. Her heart started beating fast and she felt that she would faint due to fear.
That man was very close to her and she was about to scream in fear seeing him. The man came very close to her, and as soon as he came, he asked her who are you and what are you doing alone in this lonely place so late at night, can I help you? Fearingly, Katrina asked him who he was and why he was roaming in the mid night.
The person said, daughter, I am a retired major and when I do not sleep, I go out for a walk at night like this, but what are you doing here so late at night. Katrina told that person all her situation, on this the person said that you are lucky that you meet me, otherwise you could have found any wrong criminal here at this time, and he could have anything misbehaved with you.
Come on tell me your address, I will drop you at your home, Katrina's lost self-confidence returned and she told that retired person her address and both of them started walking towards Katrina's house, after walking for about an hour, both of them reached Katrina's house.
When the reached there they saw that There Katrina's father had lodged a report of his daughter's loss to the police and an inspector had reached there for enquiry. Seeing Katrina reaching back there, her family members started crying hugging her and said where had you gone. Who is this person with you, are you fine?
Katrina narrated her whole story to her family members and the police inspector, then the inspector also questioned the retired Major and the Major satisfied him by showing his identity card.
The police inspector warns Katrina not to make such a mistake again and he leaves for night patrolling . The Major also took leave of everyone and went back in the police inspector's car.
Before leaving, Katrina's parents thanked the Major profusely for bringing their girl home safely.
After reaching home, Katrina apologized to her parents and vowed that she will not drink so much that she starts flying in the air.
