Sylvia is a young and beautiful doctor from Paris. While she came to celebrate her vacation at a hill station, she meets Rodrick, who was an amateur skating teacher.
He initially teaches her skating but later falls in love with her. After living together for some days Sylvia also reveals her feelings to Rodrick after showing tantrums that she is too in love with him.
One day suddenly Sylvia has an accident while skating on the ice and she is buried in the snow. When Roderick approaches searching for her, he sees that Silvia's body freezes ice-cold and she faints. There was no medical facility far away, only then Roderick remember that an ice-cold body could be saved by giving heat to another's body.
To save her from hypothermia, Rodrick gets close to her by stripping her clothes. He wanted to give her heat with his body, but due to excitement and touching their bodies closely, they unknowingly had a physical relationship.
After giving her primary treatment, Sylvia is admitted in a hospital, where Rodrick tells her that he has had sex with her unknowingly only to save her life, and then he proposes to her that he wants to marry her. Sylvia gratefully accepted the offer and told him to meet with her father for further discussion and to take permission for the marriage.
Rodrick went to meet her father and he requested their marriage But her father does not want his daughter to marry Rodrick because her father wants to marry her to a very rich Dr Alexander who was their family friend.
The rich father lures Rodrick with money to separate from Sylvia, but Rodrick does not agree and leaves a letter for Sylvia in the hospital informing her everything about her father's proposal and requests her in his letter to her come and live with him in his town.
When Sylvia's father sees that letter, he changes what is written. And changing the letter he writes as if Rodrick is asking for money to marry Sylvia from her father. When Sylvia reads that letter, she becomes shocked and very sad. After getting annoyed by this, she decides to forget Rodrick and goes back to her home.
In Paris, she becomes engaged to Dr Alexander,who was a long-time friend and admirer of her father . In the meantime, when he goes to Germany for higher studies in orthopaedics and implantation of bones.
In the absence of Alexander, Sylvia knows about her pregnancy. Sylvia's father wants to abort her pregnancy, but she does not agree to do this.So she decides to give birth to a child. Father and Sylvia go to another town to deliver where she gives birth to a healthy male child there. Luckily, Rodrick was also present in the same hospital. He met her father in the hospital and learned about delivery of Sylvia.
Knowing that Sylvia's child is his own, he requests Sylvia's father to give the child to him. The father agrees and gives the child to Rodrick. Sylvia's father himself also wanted to get rid of this child, so he immediately agreed.
When Sylvia asked about her child, her father said that the baby was born dead.
Rodrick comes to his home town with his child and starts his career as a skating teacher. when his child joe grew up he comes to know that he was suffering from polio, so he could not walk on his foot.
Perhaps life and fortune had to do something else in their lives, so Roderick goes to Dr Alexander in that same city to treat his son's feet, and Dr Alexander assures him that his child will walk on his feet again, and he will treat him completely.
When Years later, Rodrick meets with his son to Sylvia again at a function. She thinks that Rodrick must have gotten married and had a son.
At their ring ceremony, Sylvia's fiancée, Dr Alexander, announces that he will not marry Sylvia until Joe is cured.
He starts treating Joe, and in the meantime, Sylvia gets attached to Joe without knowing that Joe is her son.
Rodrick gives his wallet to Joe before taking him for surgery and says that it contains his mother's picture. Sylvia also sees this picture, and she comes to know that she is her mother . She tries to talk to Rodrick about his cheating, and when she knows the truth that her father has changed the letter, she becomes very uneasy and sad. so she questions her father about her child.He confesses that he hid the truth from her and that Joe was her son.
When Dr Alexander knows the truth that Sylvia and Rodrick love each other and Joe is their son, he happily agreed to marry Sylvia and Rodrick.
Now they both are living happily with their son.
