It was also the month of April and was starting the annual school holiday.
The weather was very good that month.
Some organizers organized a sales fair for 7 days in our city.
For this fair, they had covered that tent from all sides by putting a big tent in a very big field.
The organizers had made various arrangements for the tent to enhance the beauty of the tent and attract more customers.
About 30–40 air conditioners, fans, tube lights, and many electric generators were installed in the tent.
Apart from electronics and electrical equipment, many other items stalls for household items were installed in the tent for selling.
This fair was for only a week, and there were many discounts and lures offered to increase sales.
Due to these discounts and greed, people from all over the city were coming to this fair and shopping for goods.
For security reasons, only one gate was made to enter and exit the fair.
This gate was also so narrow that only 2 or 3 men could go through it.
There were many arrangements of various types of food and tea, the coffee inside the tent, and to prepare that food there was also a large arrangement of highly flammable gas cylinders and oils, etc. at that fair.
Of those cylinders, one of the gas cylinders, leaked and the tent became a fire. Due to that fire and the huge number of people in the tent, there was a rampage and people started running out of the tent.
But there was only one door there, so the maximum number of people trapped in the tent burned due to the fire and fumes.
This fair was held very near to my house. That's why my parents also went to this fair that day.
I stayed that day with my brother at our home due to our studies. At that time, I was 6 years old and my brother was 8 years old.
At around 8 o'clock in the night, we got the news that a fire broke out in that fair, and 70 people present inside the fair were burnt to death and more than 100 were injured.
There was a rush all over the city; all the hospitals were filled with patients and the dead. The burnt people were not even recognized.
My parents also died in this fire. Both of us were very young at that time.
After this accident, many friends and relatives came to our house and expressed sympathy and went back. No one took responsibility for our education and upbringing.
Then the husband of my father's sister came ahead and took both of us under his patronage, and he announced in front of everyone that all the expenses of these two brothers would be done by him from
that day.
Both of us brothers lived in a rented house. My father's sister's husband took us to his house and gave us a separate room in his house. and raised both of us as if we were their own children.
In this way, he kept both of us with him for about 15 years, paid all our expenses from his own income, and made us capable by giving us higher education so that we could live the rest of our lives happily.
Nowadays my elder brother is doing a government job and is living happily by buying his own house.
I also did my MBA after completing a degree course in mechanical engineering, and today I am working for a multinational company. I have my own house in a multi-story building and live very happily.
Sometimes I think that if he had not helped us at that time, perhaps we could not have become capable of this. For this, both of us brothers will be grateful to him for life.
That is why it is said that the one who has no protector, whose protector is God, God sent him to protect us. So we both worship him like a God.
