14th November The Children's Day

It was a coincidence that @freewrite gave us such a prompt to write today which is really a special and great day in my history. In fact, the birthday of the first Prime Minister of our country Mr Jawaharlal Nehru was on 14 November and he was a very popular person among the children of that era by the name of Chacha Nehru. For this reason, the then governments had decided to celebrate his birthday as Children's Day.

And because of this decision, even after 75 years have passed, it is being celebrated as Children's Day in our country. Mr Nehru loved roses very much, so even today keeping in mind his choice, people gift each other roses.

On this day, all the government non-government schools of our country either keep a holiday or cultural programs organized to celebrate it.
Another coincidence was that my elder son was also born on the 14th of November, and that is why all his friends affectionately called my son as Chacha Nehru. We used to celebrate its birthday with great pomp and on this occasion, we used to organize a program at home by calling all the nearby children.

That's why I can say that Today is a great day in my history and for all the citizens of my country.
