Greetings, beautiful community of @WEEKENDEXPERIENCIAS may you all have a nice weekend full of blessings, today I will participate in this nice initiative created by galenkp@galenkp where he exposes several topics, the one I liked was If you could live in the 50's, 60's or 70's which would it be and why?

If I could live in one of these eras, I think it would be 1950 or some older time. I don't know how to explain it, but I have a strong connection to the past. It's as if I sometimes have déjà vu of memories from the past. Maybe that's why I like old things so much, because it's like they remind me of my old life. Even as a child, my relatives used to tell me "the old lady is here", especially my cousins and aunts who used to tell me: "girl, what are you doing so much with those old ladies? Don't you get bored, go and play with people your age". They couldn't understand why I spent so much time with my grandmother and her friends. I really enjoyed the company of my grandmother and her friends. With them I felt like one of the group. I loved when they played bingo because they let me call out the numbers and I enjoyed listening to their stories and anecdotes. I imagined each one of them, and I also loved listening to the music they played. I felt it was more beautiful and pure than the music of my time. Also, I enjoyed my grandmother reading ancient history. I remember once my grandmother told me to read one of the poems I wrote. I was very embarrassed, I always suffered from stage fright, so she read it and one of her friends congratulated me and told me that, for a young girl, I thought and wrote like a person of 50 who has experience from a very young age. I felt misunderstood many times. I could understand things that others could not, as if deep inside, I knew that I did not belong to this world and that everyone comes to fulfill a mission. Maybe I am a little crazy with a big imagination. That's why I try to take advantage of every moment and try not to waste time on stupid things. That's why I value my solitude very much, because only when I reflect and take time for myself, is when I find my true essence. I have always been very empathetic, putting myself in other people's shoes. To the point that I am affected by other people's emotions as if my reason for being was to help others. Maybe that's why I studied special education, because every time I help someone my soul feels complete and happy.

I have been fortunate to live and travel in several Latin American countries, to work and enjoy their diverse cultures. I have enjoyed its rich gastronomy and beautiful landscapes, as well as meeting good people and bad people. I hope, perhaps in the not too distant future, to get to know other countries outside my continent. Despite all these experiences, I can say without a doubt that no other place compares to my beautiful Venezuela. Despite the fact that my land is in crisis, it has the largest oil reserve in the world. We have a shortage of gasoline, it is a crazy thing that cannot be explained. In spite of the crisis and the difficulties we face day by day, there is something very common in Venezuelans, and that is that we laugh at the problems. We always make a joke out of everything. Maybe that's why we are so resilient, because we hide our problems with a smile. That's why I would say that the warmth and love of my land is unmatched by anyone.
