Dream killer / Asesino de sueños

In life we will find many enemies who will discourage us from achieving our dreams or stop doing what we like. They will tell us "your time has passed, you are old", "you can't do it, you don't know how to do it". They will tell you "you are not strong" and others will simply underestimate us, they will want to demotivate us not to follow our dream path, for their own pleasure. They are people who like to see others fail, who enjoy seeing others fall. And if you are a leader or stand out, they will always mock and try to ridicule you, highlighting our mistakes or flaws as if they were perfect. Because seeing that they can't be as great as you, they believe that by doing so they minimize your reputation and achievements. It is sad, but it is a reality and they are the way they are because that is their essence: meanness and envy. They hate those who strive and those who advance faster than them, with dedication and humility. We must not allow these types of people to affect us, because they are everywhere. They are the dream killers, who if we allow them, will steal our peace and energies.

En la vida nos vamos a encontrar con muchos enemigos que nos desanimarán para que no logremos nuestros sueños o dejes de hacer lo que nos gusta. Nos dirán "tu tiempo ya pasó, estás viejo/a", "tú no puedes, no sabes de eso". Te dirán "tú no eres fuerte" y otros simplemente nos subestimarán, querrán desmotivarnos para no seguir nuestro camino soñado, para su propio placer. Son personas a las que les gusta ver a otros fracasar, que disfrutan ver caer al prójimo. Y si eres un líder o destacas, siempre se burlarán y tratarán de ridiculizarte, resaltando nuestros errores o defectos como si ellos fueran perfectos. Porque al ver que no pueden ser tan grandes como tú, creen que haciéndolo minimizan tu reputación y logros. Es triste, pero es una realidad y son como son porque esa es su esencia: la maldad y la envidia. Odian a los que se esfuerzan y a los que avanzan más rápido que ellos, con dedicación y humildad. No debemos permitir que este tipo de personas nos afecten, porque están en todas partes. Son los asesinos de sueños, que si se los permitimos, nos robarán la paz y energías.

You have to be very astute to recognize these types of people, even many times they hide among our peers and friends. They are those who, no matter your achievement or ability, will always say that there is someone who does it better and will always try to minimize your achievements. They will also be on the lookout for any mistake you make and they will try to get in your face as many times as they can. Every time you talk about some achievement or important thing we accomplish, they will change the subject because inside envy eats it up and they hide it with a mask of hypocrisy and a false smile. So let's ignore it and move on. Many times they will hate us, but that hatred will make us invincible.

Hay que ser muy astuto para reconocer a este tipo de personas, incluso muchas veces se ocultan entre nuestros compañeros y amigos. Son aquellos que, si importa tu logro o habilidad, siempre dirán que hay alguien que lo hace mejor y tratarán siempre de minimizar tus logros. También estarán atentos a cualquier error que cometas para sacártelo en cara las veces que puedan. Cada vez que hables de algún logro o cosa importante que logramos, cambiarán de tema porque por dentro la envidia se lo come y lo ocultan con una máscara de hipocresía y una falsa sonrisa. Así que ignoremos y sigamos adelante. Muchas veces nos odiarán, pero ese odio nos hará invencibles.

Never tell your projects and you will do better. It is a law of life that what works best is those projects that are kept secret, and are only counted when they are already materialized. In the end, the fruits will speak for us. The bad energies of others can knock down a project. There are people who talk endlessly to everyone about what they are going to do and never do anything. Never talk about how much you earn, because other people do not like to see you doing better than them. Enemies are closer than you think: classmates, co-workers, neighbors, even in our own family. But the most dangerous are those we cannot see, those invisible ones who at all costs seek to harm us. Darkness will always pursue those who shine, so we must always stand strong with solid conviction. When anyone tries to bring you down to their level, they will laugh, they will humiliate us, they will constantly harass us physically and with hurtful words. No matter how big our dream is, if we work harder than they talk and are consistent, we will have good results in due time. They have no ambition, they were born strong in body but weak in spirit. They are a weed that must be pulled out of our life.

Nunca cuentes tus proyectos y mejor te irá. Es ley de la vida que lo que mejor sale es aquellos proyectos en secreto, y solo se cuentan cuando ya están materializados. Al final, los frutos hablarán por nosotros. Las malas energías de otros pueden tumbar un proyecto. Hay personas que hablan sin parar con todo el mundo de lo que van a hacer y nunca hacen nada. Nunca hables de cuánto ganas, pues a otras personas no les gusta ver que te vaya mejor que a ellos. Los enemigos están más cerca de lo que te imaginas: compañeros de estudio, compañeros de trabajo, vecinos, incluso hasta en nuestra propia familia. Pero los más peligrosos son los que no podemos ver, aquellos invisibles que a toda costa buscan hacernos daño. La oscuridad siempre perseguirá a los que brillan, por eso siempre debemos permanecer fuertes con convicción sólida. Cuando cualquiera trate de bajarte a su nivel, ellos se van a reír, nos van a humillar, nos acosarán constantemente físicamente y con palabras hirientes. No importa qué tan grande sea nuestro sueño, si trabajamos más de lo que ellos hablan y somos constantes, tendremos buenos resultados a su debido tiempo. Ellos no tienen ambiciones, nacieron fuertes de cuerpo pero débiles de espíritu. Son una mala hierba que debe ser arrancada de nuestra vida.
