Der Alexis- Bläuling ist ein Tagfalter aus der Familie der Bläulinge (Lycaenidae). Der Falter fliegt an warmen sonnigen Hängen und Waldrändern. Im Verhältnis zu anderen Bläulingen ist der Alexis-Bläuling relativ groß und fällt besonders durch seine metallische Bestäubung auf der Unterseite der Hinterflügel auf. Schon von weitem kann man ihn erkennen und kaum mit anderen Bläulingen verwechseln. Der Schmetterling fliegt von April bis August. Die Raupe ernährt sich an Färber-Ginster, Esparsetten und Lucerne. In Unterfranken ist der Falter noch zahlreich zu finden.
The Alexis blue is a butterfly from the family of Lycaenidae. The butterfly flies on warm sunny slopes and forest edges. The Alexis blue is relatively large compared to other Lycaenidae and stands out due to its metallic pollination on the underside of the hind wings. It can already be seen from a distance and can hardly be confused with other Lycaenidae. The butterfly flies from April to August. The caterpillar feeds on dyer broom, sainfoin and Lucerne. In Lower Franconia the butterfly can still be found in large numbers.
Diese Aufnahme habe ich schon vor einigen Jahren fotografiert. Sie passt aber sehr gut zu meinem Beitrag. Über diese Kopula habe ich mich sehr gefreut. Man kann die farblich variable Bestäubung der Hinterflügel sehr gut erkennen. Während das kleinere Männchen in Aquamarin glänzt, ist das Weibchen deutlich größer und farblich intensiv blau gefärbt. Der metallische Glanz kann je nach Sonneneinstrahlung variieren.
I photographed this photo a few years ago. But it fits very well to my contribution. I was very happy about this copula. One can see the color-variable pollination of the back wings very well. While the smaller male shines in aquamarine, the female is clearly larger and intensely blue in colour. The metallic shine can vary depending on sunlight.
