Meine gestrige Tour führte mich zum Himmelsteich bei Erlenbach. Der Teich liegt etwas verborgen im Wald zwischen Lengfurt und Erlenbach. Rund um den Teich war die Wiese gemäht, so dass ich kaum einen Tagfalter in der Nähe zum See beobachten konnte. Am Abend lag ein Teil des See schon im Schatten. Auf der sonnigen Seite patrouillierten zahlreiche Libellen. Bis auf diese Vierfleck-Libelle, suchten sich alle anderen Libellen ihren Ansitz im hohen Schilf. Die Bedingungen und das Licht waren traumhaft und so sind mir die nachfolgenden Aufnahmen gelungen.
My tour yesterday led me to the Himmelsteich near Erlenbach. The pond is hidden in the forest between Lengfurt and Erlenbach. Around the pond the meadow was mowed, so that I could hardly observe a butterfly near the lake. In the evening a part of the lake was already in the shade. On the sunny side numerous dragonflies patrolled. Except for this four-spot dragonfly, all other dragonflies looked for their residence in the high reed. The conditions and the light were fantastic and so I succeeded in taking the following pictures.
Die frischen Farben, lud förmlich zum fotografieren ein. Überall boten sich durch das fantastische Licht tolle Motive. Auch ohne Schmetterlinge, hat es mir richtig Spaß gemacht, Libellen und Seerosen zu fotografieren.
The fresh colours, literally invited you to take pictures. The fantastic light offered great motifs everywhere. Even without butterflies, I really enjoyed taking pictures of dragonflies and water lilies.
Um einen Eindruck von dem kleinen Teich zu vermitteln, habe ich abschließend eine Landschaftsaufnahme mit meinem Smartphone fotografiert. Leider gab es nur wenige Seerosen zu bewundern. Sie werden anscheinend von anderen Wasserpflanzen verdrängt. 2017 wurden umfangreiche Maßnahmen ergriffen um die Seerosen zu fördern. Anscheinend mit mäßigem Erfolg. Die Natur macht was sie will und der stärkere setzt sich durch.
To give you an impression of the small pond, I finally photographed a landscape with my smartphone. Unfortunately there were only a few water lilies to admire. They are apparently displaced by other water plants. In 2017 extensive measures were taken to promote the water lilies. Apparently with moderate success. Nature does what it wants and the stronger one prevails.
