I used to ask a myriad of questions when I first entered in HIVE.
So, I was recommended to visit my neighbors (distinct communities) and make engagement, communicate with each other.

That reminded me as a Trainer (in office) one of my favorite choice of topic to train the employee is communication & conflict management.
What I possessed from the remarks of the pro-Hive users (Referring to the folks who have been here from the very beginning) is that "Hive is just like any other social platform. You pay attention to others, and only then you get the attention in return!"

Fair enough! Taking that into consideration I commenced my journey through my neighborhoods!

Hence I begun to explore as many distinguished communities as I could, to understand how HIVE-life functions!

Just like when you move to a new neighborhood. To be familiar with your surroundings, you will have to keep walking through the street, alley until you uncover your way and discover the suitable shortcuts for yourself.

  • Gradually I have learned how to discover communities.
Then I aimed to excavate communities that pertained to my hobbies or are relevant to stuff I cherish.
  • Then whose profile I reckon would be to my liking, I review the main profile of that individual. Dig up a little about them by scrolling through some other articles of them and decide whether to follow or not.
  • And then there is discord for further befriending with or little chit-chatting.

Indeed the advice I have got for building my network was precise and relevant. However, the efforts often felt like were in vain, as if nobody really is concerned about communication.
I am hardly led by anyone to proceed further after I initiate any communication!

Henceforth, sometimes the feedback or to be particular NO-FEEDBACK part from my neighbors does bog me.

What I have perceived from my short span in HIVE and so far summarized expedition is that "Majority people in Hive merely communicate, or almost don't at all!"

I can not quite assert whether they are not aware about this process, or they are just ignorant!

Still, as I am determined to build myself here, I will keep doing what I am apt at. Because maybe this part of HIVE has just started to grow.

And hopefully someday, people who are putting efforts will be able to convey this message to everyone. Then this Hive community will become a much more cheerful, friendly neighborhood to the point that folks will communicate and reach out each other regardless their language, cultural or any other barriers.
And Hive won't look monotonous or gloomy anymore to anyone!
Until then...
